All variants use the same S58 ECU architecture. Confirm your build date and ECU part number before purchasing if you have any hardware modifications.

What You Need to Flash

• A compatible OBD2 cable (bootmod3 BM3 OBD cable recommended)
• An iOS or Android device with the bootmod3 app installed
• A stable 12V+ battery charge before flashing (battery charger strongly recommended)
• Stock or disclosed hardware modifications — Stage 2 maps require upgraded intake and downpipes

No bench flash, no dealer visit, no ECU removal. The entire flash process is completed in-car via OBD2 in under 15 minutes.

Expected Power Gains

• Stage 1 (93oct, stock hardware): ~40–55 whp / 50–70 wtq over stock
• Stage 2 (93oct, intake + downpipes): ~65–80 whp / 75–100 wtq over stock
• E30 / E85 blends: Additional gains available with ethanol content — custom tune recommended for max power

Warranty & Return Policy

• Due to the digital nature of ECU software licenses, all tune sales are final once the license has been activated on your ECU
• Unactivated licenses may be eligible for return within 7 days of purchase — contact us before activating
• bootmod3 software does not void your BMW factory powertrain warranty on its own, but we recommend consulting your dealer — tuning-related mechanical damage is not covered under our software license
• Support is available via our helpdesk for any flashing issues, map questions, or technical concerns
