As power levels climb on the BMW S63 twin-turbo V8, so do oil temperatures, with some owners reporting temperatures above 240°F (115°C) on hot track days. CSF's High-Performance Engine Oil Cooler for the F1X M5/M6, F9X M5/M8 and G9X M5 is built to handle that extra heat.

Developed with CarBahn Autoworks to handle the heat of their S63 Stroker Kit, it's also a durability upgrade: many owners have had to replace their OEM oil coolers because of leaks and damage from its vulnerable mounting position, a problem that worsens with lowered suspension.

CSF vs OEM

• CNC-machined connection blocks: TIG-welded for extreme durability
• Upgraded core design: heavy-duty bar & plate core replaces the fragile tube & fin core, making it far more impact-resistant
• 33% larger core: three additional rows of oil cooling and a thicker 60mm core (vs OEM 45mm). Oil capacity is increased by 0.5 quarts (0.47L)
• TIG-welded end tanks: stronger than the factory's brazed construction, reducing the risk of leaks
